Since 1996 we have been providing experienced qualified nurses, student nurses (AIN’s) and orderlies to Sydney based hospitals and facilities on a casual and contract basis.

Our recruitment procedures are rigorous and on-going monitoring and feedback ensures that only the highest calibre candidates make it onto our books, and of these, only the best performers are then retained for further work. For continuity of care we encourage pre-bookings whenever possible, although staff are also available for last minute, ad hoc orders when required.

Using the strict policy directives of NSW Health as a benchmark, all of Bower Healthcare’s nursing staff are screened to ensure compliance with these requirements in relation to matters such as applicable prior experience, current nursing study status (for AIN’s), vaccination and immunity records, national criminal history record and working with children checks, applicable statutory declarations, etc.

Thorough pre-screening against an individual hospital’s specific requirements ensures that new staff being introduced are guaranteed to be suitable. Additionally, any new starter documentation can be completed and submitted in advance of a nurse’s first shift, thus reducing administration at busy shift change over times.
